Southern California StampMania IV

I ditched my family and came to this fun, fun, FUN stamping event called SoCal Stampmania! OMG! I had such a blast making cards & other fun things! I went alone & was nervous not knowing anyone, but I figured that as long as there were stamps, ink & paper - I'd be quite alright! There were about 100 ladies in attendance! Just in case you're looking for me in this pic, I'm standing with a pale pink shirt on.
Each person was required to bring a "shoebox project" with enough supplies for 10-12 other people to make your project. I came up with a tea bag holder, using one of my favorite flower stamp sets.
Stamps: Bodacious Bouquet, Canvas, Linen
Paper: Cranberry Crisp, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Versamark, White Craft
Accessories: ribbon, paper piercer, mat pack, tacky tape
There was also an optional card swap - I made 48 of these cards! I got this set after Jason was born, because I needed a boy set!
Stamps: By Land, Happy Everything, Crosshatch, Linen
Paper: True Thyme, Rose Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: ribbon, wire

We were also required to make a name tag for ourselves. I really didn't want to make my name SUPER obvious, I dunno, I guess I didn't want to feel self-conscious. So, my name is off to the side on one of the petals. I had a lot of fun coming up with this name tag. I learned how to shape the stamped flower from this tutorial.

Paper: regal rose, rose red, white
Ink: regal rose, rose red
Accessories: tag punch, small flower punch, stickles/glitter glue, ribbon, small rhinestone
We had a name tag contest and apparently enough ladies liked my name tag enough to vote for me! I was the first place winner & these were the goodies in my prize bag! Nestled in there are some SU! bold brights brads. Can't wait to use them!
