Kwan Family Adventures

We were all involved in the wedding program - it made for a very crazy, busy & stressful day, in terms of fulfilling our obligations well & keeping track of & managing the kids & their obligations as well.
I was not able to be with the children as they prepared to walk down the aisle since I was in the front taking care of various details of the music program & performing. I asked Amy to help with the kids, but completely forgot to inform her about the details about the wedding processional! Nicole nearly went down the aisle at the wrong time....and when she finally did make it down to the end of the aisle, she decided to do her own thing! She walked all the way from the left to the right to sit with her friend, Kristen and that was that!
And because only mommies really pay attention to whether the children look presentable, nobody helped to "spiff" Jason up & get him ready to go down the aisle. He had his shirt hanging out, a really loose tie, & where's his jacket???? He was like a little unkempt hobo walking down the aisle, but still cute nonetheless. Nobody cares about these things since the kids are so cute no matter what, but I guess I was sad that I couldn't be a part of those preparations & participate in the "cuteness" of their part in the wedding ceremony.
