Tinker Tots Preschool

Mommy says I get to start preschool soon! So we went there today to see if I would like being at preschool. Mommy thinks that I'd really enjoy playing with the other kids. I think so, too!
Afterwards, we all went to my doctor for my 2 year old check-up. Looks like I've got a clean bill of health!
I wasn't too happy after getting my shot, though...
...but still, it was fun playing with the toys in the waiting room! Here me rooooaaar like a lion!

Birthday Cake

Mommy tells me that we get to celebrate my birthday today, too! I'm not sure what that means, but I've got my eye on this birthday cake right here!
Okay, we've blown out one candle...one more to go!
Now I can dig into my own birthday cake! Happy Birthday to me!

My 2 Year Old Birthday Party!

Something tells me that we're celebrating my birthday today...I wonder what it is...!
Mommy's whispering to me that it's my birthday cake - I think that's what gave it away!
Some of my favorite parts of the day was riding my coupe car (of course!)...
...and playing with sidewalk chalk (it was my first time!)...
...trying to learn how to blow bubbles (I still need help, though)...
...getting to eat my own birthday cake!...
...and of course, opening birthday presents!!
Thanks to all my family & friends for celebrating my 2 year old birthday together with me!

Sort of Going Out

Going out on a ride, sort of...I pretend to get out of the house with my little coupe car, because I've noticed that we don't go out as much now that Po Po is here...I think it's because Mommy's always sleeping in!

See you later, Tai Gung & Tai Po!

When I was a wee little baby, we have a picture that we took all together - my Mommy calls it the 4 generations picture! So Mommy wanted another one when I'm nearly two years old, so here we are again! See how much I've grown!
Today it's time to say goodbye to my Tai Gung, Tai Po & Granduncle John. Thanks for coming to visit me - I hope you come again soon!

Visit to GrandAuntie Maria

Today, we went to Tustin to visit GrandAuntie Maria. We had dim sum together!
Although I the food was good, I was still so happy to be out of my chair that I gave Po Po a great big kiss!
I also enjoyed playing at the slide when we returned to GrandAuntie Maria's complex.
But in reality, I was getting tired. I thought I could nap at GrandAuntie Maria's home, but Mommy made me nap at home instead.
It all worked out okay. I got to be held by Tai Po when I woke up, which sure is a special treat for both of us.

My GreatGrandparents & GrandUncle John!

My Tai Gung & Tai Po were visiting San Francisco & decided to come down to LA just to visit me! They asked GrandUncle John to drive them down. We're settling in for a nice family dinner at MPV Seafood Restaurant. I can't wait because I'm hungry!
Thanks for driving all the way down from San Francisco to visit me, GrandUncle John!

Hair Cut & Tea Party

Mommy's corner: We brought Nicole to Little Kuts to trim her bangs, and she behaved beautifully! We got there a little early so she could play a bit in their toy area. And when they called her name, she immediately got up & walked straight up to her chair - without any need for persuasion or coercion! The rest of the hair cut went so well, I thought I'd treat her with a bit of play time at Pottery Barn Kids across the street.
See how nice & straight her bangs are now! Nicole is starting to really enjoy playing pretend with food & eating utensils, so she immediately sat down at this little table to play with the plates & cups & napkins.
It's a tea party for one!

No High Chair?!

This restaurant is such a tiny hole-in-the-wall that they don't even have high chairs for little kids like me! So I sat on Uncle Scott's lap, while eating my noodles & sticky rice. (I'm clutching my sticky rice in my left hand so no one will even think about taking it from me!)

Movie Time

I'm back in my chair for movie time!

Me & Boo

Mommy's Corner: To our surprise, Nicole has developed a liking for some of the full length cartoon movies that we've let her watch. We weren't aware that she had the interest or attention span for these long movies! Her current favorites are Finding Nemo & Monsters, Inc. As a result, she's playing a lot more with her Boo doll, since she recognizes Boo from the movie.

Cataldi Park

Mommy says it's already time to say goodbye to Rachel today. So, we decided to go to the local park for one last chance to play together before going home.
I really enjoyed my trip here, but Mommy tells me that I need to learn how to share a bit better, especially when none of the toys belong to me!
Thanks, again, Rachel, for sharing all your toys so nicely, and letting us come visit you! Hope we can play again together soon!

Sunday Dim Sum

Today's Sunday! I went to Rachel's church & really enjoyed playing at the Sunday School there! And what better lunch on Sunday than some more dim sum to share together!

Happy Hollow Park & Home-grown Fun

I had lots of fun today! We all went to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo to play!
Rachel & I started on the merry-go-round - we rode it a few times together!
Then I got to drive around in this blue police car...
And go on another ride called King's Neptune Carousel!
I had SO much fun, I put up a BIG fight when Daddy & Mommy said it was time for my nap!
But I'm glad I got a good nap back in my crib...because afterwards, I got to play a lot more with Rachel!
We liked pretending to demolish this inflatable school bus!
And it was loads of fun chasing each other around the house!
But Mommy & Auntie Winnie enjoyed it more when we settled down to draw together!

We're here! Thanks for letting us come visit, Auntie Winnie! And thanks for sharing your toys & letting me sleep in your crib, Rachel!
We also had the chance to visit Zachary & have lunch together today. Thanks for letting me play with your toys, too!
