Motherly Nature

Nicole has a real big soft spot in her heart for babies. She'll want to play with them or hold them or feed them or get them their pacifiers. In fact, she keeps asking me where babies come from (What???!!? Already!! Aaacckkk!!??) & keeps praying that God would give her a baby when she grows up. I am not ready for this yet! Right now she's comforting Baby Matthew Chang.

Easter Story

We meet with a few other young families & this time, we wanted to prepare something for the children about the Easter Story.
The kids are completely mesmerized by a cartoon depiction of the events leading to Christ's death & resurrection.
Afterwards, fun Easter crafts for the kids.
Even Jason had a chance to color!

Mommy's corner: We try to pray together with the children every night before going to bed. Sometimes we would have little conversations about God, too, and we would explain to her that Jesus will live in our hearts when we ask Him to. On March 18th, a few days right before Easter, Nicole prays completely on her own, "God be in my heart!" I couldn't be more humbled by God's grace & grateful for how He works in her heart, even at a young age. Praise God!
