Southern California StampMania IV
I ditched my family and came to this fun,
fun,
FUN stamping event called SoCal Stampmania! OMG! I had such a blast making cards & other fun things! I went alone & was nervous not knowing anyone, but I figured that as long as there were stamps, ink & paper - I'd be quite alright! There were about 100 ladies in attendance! Just in case you're looking for me in this pic, I'm standing with a pale pink shirt on.
Each person was required to bring a "shoebox project" with enough supplies for 10-12 other people to make your project. I came up with a tea bag holder, using one of my favorite flower stamp sets.
Stamps: Bodacious Bouquet, Canvas, Linen
Paper: Cranberry Crisp, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Versamark, White Craft
Accessories: ribbon, paper piercer, mat pack, tacky tapeThere was also an optional card swap - I made 48 of these cards! I got this set after Jason was born, because I needed a boy set!
Stamps: By Land, Happy Everything, Crosshatch, Linen
Paper: True Thyme, Rose Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: ribbon, wire
We were also required to make a name tag for ourselves. I really didn't want to make my name SUPER obvious, I dunno, I guess I didn't want to feel self-conscious. So, my name is off to the side on one of the petals. I had a lot of fun coming up with this name tag. I learned how to shape the stamped flower from
this tutorial.
Stamps: Big Blossom, Basket Full of Fun, Bodacious Bouquet, Delight in Life, Too Terrific Tags, Rough Edges Alphabet
Paper: regal rose, rose red, white
Ink: regal rose, rose red
Accessories: tag punch, small flower punch, stickles/glitter glue, ribbon, small rhinestone

We had a name tag contest and apparently enough ladies liked my name tag enough to vote for me! I was the first place winner & these were the goodies in my prize bag! Nestled in there are some SU! bold brights brads. Can't wait to use them!
Nebulizer & Pulmicort
Our poor little Jason has been sick every month (sometimes twice a month) since November. It was always a predictable pattern - if Nicole came home with even the slightest of sniffles or coughs or fever, he'd come down with the same thing a few days after her. While Nicole may get better within a few days, it seemed like he would take weeks to heal. He'd be well for a few days and then get sick again.
Finally, this month, his symptoms seemed to change & he started wheezing, having trouble breathing. So, after consulting with the pediatrician, we were told to administer pulmicort, a corticosteroid, using a nebulizer, which would allow him to inhale the medicine directly into his lungs.
Poor little guy! We try to set up the television for him to watch, but it's not an easy process! In the beginning, it would require both Chris & I to administer the medicine, because one of us would hold the face mask and the other would hold Jason's hands and arms! But he's been such a trooper! He's gotten more familiar with the process & it's possible to do it with just one parent now.
Little Lady
Nicole has been enjoying wearing skirts & dresses lately - it's sort of a new thing for her! At preschool, we often insist she wears long pants because we know that she's so active that she ends up falling a lot of times. The holes & dirt smudges all around the knees of her pants attest to that! But when I know we're spending a "quiet" day at home, I'll let her pick out a skirt to wear. This outfit is so cute for our little lady - what a lovely gift from Auntie Jenny & Uncle Alvin!
Little Prince
I am the little prince of the household. Sheesh, this crown is sitting too low on my brow.
Gotta readjust a bit....
Okay, do I look princely enough with my crown & little "throne"?
Girls Hanging Out

Some of the girls in my grade were gracious enough to hang out at my place! Amy is expecting another boy - congratulations! It was such a blessing to catch up with Sandy! And Anna's expert knowledge about Beard Papa & how to eat their most excellent cream puffs was hilarious!
Disneyland with Kristen!
Mommy thought that I wouldn't know what Disneyland was - I sure surprised her! Why, it's the most magical place on earth! Every princess knows that!

We are so blessed to have 4 free tickets to go to Disneyland!! And I am the lucky girl that got to go with Kristen! This is the parking lot - we're waiting for the elevator. Yup, the lines start way before we even we got into Disneyland!

Our next line! Waiting for the tram! I don't suppose we could just walk there....????

Nah! The tram is way more fun!

Okay, we got stickers of Mickey while waiting to get past security, but can we go in already?

We finally made it! This is Cinderella's castle! She's the first Disney princess that I got to know!

Got to visit Buzz & help him shoot the bad guys!

The Trashcan Trio were pretty mesmerizing! I wonder if I can learn to drum like that one day?

Phew! A nice break after lunch - coloring together with Kristen!

This is the best place, ever! We're at the Princess Fantasy Faire!

Mommy tells me that we're all princesses in God's eyes, because we're daughters of the King of Kings!

Today has been a really special day for us princesses! I can't wait to come again!
Walking!
Look, everybody! No hands! I'm officially walking! Take a look at the video below!
Happy Birthday, Yeh Yeh
I look a bit crabby, but we're actually supposed to be celebrating Yeh Yeh's birthday! Look, we're even dressed to impress with matching Old Navy gray fleece tops!
We celebrated together over burgers at Islands!
Sweat Ball
Jason takes after Daddy in this regard - he's a total sweat ball! Especially when he's sleeping!
Another look at his sweaty-ness
Goofy picture of me trying to hold both boys - Jason & Cousin Bradley!
Happy Birthday, David!
Trying to get a group photo...
Ahhh, we got Kristen to look at the camera!
Now we got nobody looking at the camera!
Okay, three out of four not too bad. Happy 3rd birthday, David!
Water Fun
I took the kids to Kidspace again, today, and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch by the Wisteria Courtyard. Actually, it wasn't by choice - the lunch tables by the cafe were totally full!
I decided to "let go" and allow both kids to literally dive into the water table area. It was Jason's first time & he totally went for it!
Jason's just getting started here - dunking his hands into the water trough.
Now he's going for the upper body dunk! Take a look at his soaking shirt!
MOPS moms at Lacy Park
Mom snuck me away to the park (forfeiting my nap - yeah!) while Nicole was at preschool today.
While Mommy was hanging out with some of the MOPS moms, I got to hang out with some of the kids!

And later on that night, I got to meet my GrandAuntie Eva, GrandUncle Michael & Uncle Joshua for the first time! Uncle Josh plans on attending UCSD & they're visiting us on the way down to the campus!
Jason's Quirks
Jason's car seat recently got turned around & I think he's really enjoying it! Right now, I get a full view of him trying to eat his feet. Can you say....teething?
Another quirk of his....he LOVES balls. But most of all, he LOVES a GREEN ball. He'll either go straight for that solitary green ball, or throw away all other colors until he can find it! Funny, huh!

Nicole got a special treat today! It's a gorgeous Mulan doll from Auntie Jenny & Uncle Alvin & Cousin Daniel! Thank you!
Celebrating Easter
Getting together for an Easter family picture at church! Praise God for Jesus Christ's resurrection power!
Mommy's getting another picture of me in my handsome Easter outfit - ha ha.
Here's a pic of Jeh Jeh & Kristen Jeh Jeh in their Easter dresses.
Ahhh, all together and waiting for our Easter dinner together as a family!
