Small Birthday Gathering

Not only did Nicole get to go to Disneyland yesterday, but tonight we are having a small gathering to celebrate Nicole's birthday.

My Little Teddy Bear

This camel-colored velour outfit that Jason's wearing is a gift from GrandAuntie Sue. It's so cute on Jason!

He's so soft & cuddly & warm & cute - I always want to hug him just like my own little teddy bear!

Apparently Jeh Jeh is trying to get a piece of Jason, too, but he won't have any of it.

Lookee what Chris made for me!!!

....to this! Chris helped me find a system where I can store my punches so that they are ACCESSIBLE to me at all times!!! He helped me pick out this shoe rack system, but sawed off the parts that are too long & helped me attach a poster board to the back of it for stability...I LOVE IT!!!

Breathing Treatment

Jason has had a couple of days to "get used to" using the nebulizer for his breathing treatments. What that means is that he now understands that he does NOT like the nebulizer & will fight us like crazy when he realizes it's time for his treatment! At least I know it's good for him!

Sick Jason

Jason has not been well - he's developed a cough that sounds like his airways are restrictive. Really tugs on my heartstrings to see him so sick & needy.

We finally took him to see the doctor - we're waiting for the doctor here.

We've received a prescription for Pumicort & Albuterol to help Jason's airways open up & heal. It's administered using a nebulizer, which aerosolizes the medication, so he can breathe it into his lungs where it's needed. As you can imagine, this is not something that Jason enjoys.

Wiped Out

My poor baby has so little energy in his reserves. He is so wiped out from being sick & fighting the breathing treatments (using the nebulizer) - we discovered that he just had to sleep.

He laid his head down & zonked out standing up against the couch!

Here's another angle - so sad that he's so sick, but one day I'll be able to say this is hilarious.
