Ballerina Princess & Tomato Jungle

Ballerina Princess pose.
Here's our tomato JUNGLE. I think Chris installed some sort of water drip system, so the tomato plants are free to grow as they please!
Nicole enjoying the fruits of Daddy's labor.
Little cherry tomatoes.

Disneyland Blackout Days

We are still blacked out from Disneyland - can you tell we miss being able to go?
Well, in this case, it's more like monkey see, monkey do.

While Nicole's Dancing Away

While Nicole's dancing, I have to wait outside & somehow keep Jason entertained.

A few snacks....
And a nice cool drink.....keeps him from running away too far!

Last Day at NYC

Today is my last day here in NY. Auntie Ivy insisted on meeting us for one last meal - we went to this great little Columbian restaurant - mmmmmm!

Sunday Worship at NY Ling Liang Church

Getting a quick baby hug while Daniel's getting ready for the day :)
We went to New York Ling Liang Church today for worship. This is actually the church I grew up in when I lived in New York, from 8 years old to 16 years old. But since the time I've left, the building has gone through many, many changes. While the outside facade has been preserved & is still the same - and provoked quite a bit of nostalgia - the inside was nothing as I remembered. But it is still heartwarming to see how the work of the Lord continues in this important place.

Waterzooi Belgium Bistro

At Alvin's recommendation, mom & I went to this yummy place with Auntie Ivy. I think this is their Thai moule pot - a yummy, yummy seafood dish with lemongrass & cilantro & a curry flavor.
And some really good french fries - mmmmmmm!

Becky's Corner: Visiting Family in NY

It's sure hard to travel when there's a need to purchase multiple airplane tickets! I sure wished I could have brought my kids along, but unfortunately, I made the decision to travel alone to New York, so I could come visit this little guy - my newest nephew, baby Michael! What a CUTIE PIE!!!
I was blessed to spend time with mom, too, because she was already there to help with the new baby.
Of course, it was such a treat to see how much li'l Daniel has grown!
We also visited my cousin's new baby, too! Our family's growing!

For the first time, we've enrolled Nicole into a dance class - it's beginning ballet & tap.
I can't say enough how much she loves it! She's become such a girly-girl that she's tickled PINK to get all dressed up & dance to her heart's content!

Mammoth Family Vacation - Day 5

Knowing that this was our last chance to get some early morning fishing in, Chris & I spend a little time together at a fishing spot of his choice.
Except for the mud & worms & mosquitos & cold....I'd almost say it was romantic!

The view sure is beautiful, though. What a wonderful way to give praise to Our Lord & Creator.

On the way to the Hatchery

Now that we have kids, I think that visiting the Mammoth Hot Creek State Hatchery is a must-do in our itinerary.
Jason's having fun feeding the fish.
It's not hard to keep them safe.

And it's more interesting for them than sitting by a fishing pole for a few hours on end :)

Mammoth Family Vacation - Day 4

The men decide to go golfing today - Chris, Jon, Scott & Hubert. This picture is blurry, but it's the only one I've got!
Since not everybody is staying all the way to the "end", we decided to do a group picture today, before some of them had to leave earlier. We've coralled the kids - now we're waiting for the adults!
YEAH! Our group picture!

The sprinklers outside our unit was creating this gorgeous rainbow - I'm so glad our camera was able to capture this.

I've really enjoyed coming out to Convict Lake with the kids. It's nice & FLAT & they actually enjoy playing with all the rocks & pebbles. Chris is not as keen about Convict Lake because he thinks the fishing is not as good :P

Uncle Scott is helping Nicole bring her little fishy in!

Look what I caught, Mommy!

SOOOO much fun to hang out with family & friends!
Leave me alone - I'm eating!

Speaking of good eats - LOOK at the beautiful stuffed trout! I love it when Hubert prepares this for us! I don't think I will ever tire of this dish!
